Over $360,000 Donated Through 2020 Johns Manville Giving Campaign

Johns Manville (JM) employees at the company’s world headquarters in Denver and technical center in Littleton, Colorado, partner every year with Mile High United Way to raise money for community organizations through an annual two-week giving campaign.

This year’s campaign, titled UNITED&INSPIRED: Supporting the Community Today to Help Create a Better Tomorrow, was held in October and focused on organizations assisting with two timely and important topics: diversity and inclusion (D&I) efforts and pandemic relief.

Employee donations, along with a company match, resulted in over $360,000 going to organizations that support causes such as racial justice, health and wellness, community building, youth success, children and families, animals, and housing and homelessness.

The American Red Cross, American Civil Liberties Union and Denver Rescue Mission, which helps people experiencing homelessness and addiction, were among the most-supported organizations by JM employees. Many donations also went to the Denver Dumb Friends League, an animal shelter that rescues animals and offers animal adoption, and Warren Village, which helps low-income, single-parent families become self-sufficient.
