JM’s Polyisocyanurate foam, known as TRYMER® PIR, is a closed-cell, high-performance insulation for use in industrial and commercial applications. TRYMER PIR is manufactured into bunstocks to be fabricated into the appropriate shapes and sizes for pipes, vessels, equipment, and duct applications. We offer a variety of different TRYMER PIR products with unique performance characteristics to accommodate varied applications – from high-compressive strength to 25/50 flame/smoke requirements. TRYMER PIR has a broad temperature range, allowing our TRYMER PIR products to be used in low temperature applications, like chilled water, cryogenic applications, like those found in LNG plants, and heated applications that operate at temperature up to 300°F.
TRYMER PIR (polyisocyanurate) is a closed-cell, foam insulation for industrial pipes, vessels, and equipment. TRYMER PIR can be used in applications that operate at temperatures ranging from -297°F to 300°F (-183°C to 148°C). Additionally, TRYMER PIR is offered in a variety of different densities and compressive strengths to ensure the product consistency is suited for the unique needs of a variety of applications. TRYMER PIR features one of the lowest ambient k-factors among all pipe insulations: 0.19 BTU · in/hr · ft2 · °F at 75°F mean temperature (0.027 W/m · °C at 24°C).
TRYMER CORE PIR
TRYMER Core PIR foam is designed to meet a wide range of end-user specifications. As core materials for composite products and panel applications, TRYMER Core products offer many benefits over conventional polyurethane foams. TRYMER Core PIR foam is produced as bunstock in different densities and strengths for a broad range of applications, including transportation, pultrusion, temporary/mobile shelters, telecommunications shelters, cold storage, and marine.
TRYMER 25-50 PIR
TRYMER® 25-50 PIR Insulation offers the same, great thermal performance of TRYMER® PIR but with a lower flame/smoke rating that meets the ASTM 84 Fire Hazard Classification Rating. TRYMER® 25-50 has an ASTM E84 flame spread/smoke developed performance of <25/50 at up to 1.5" thickness which makes it ideal for use in chilled water applications or anywhere flammability is the greatest concern and governed by codes but where energy efficiency and water resistance are still important.
