Our intern program is designed to provide hands-on engineering or business experience through challenging assignments focused on innovation and growth.

We take a holistic approach to our internships by assigning meaningful projects, educating interns on JM's history and values, and providing additional educational and volunteer opportunities.

All JM summer interns are given the opportunity to present their work to senior management within the company at our corporate headquarters in Denver, Colorado at the end of the program.

D&I Council
Johns Manville’s D&I Council is composed of employees from the company’s locations in North America and Europe. The Council meets regularly and works to promote and foster an environment of inclusion. It advocates for inclusivity through content, engagement, discussion, understanding, allyship and training. The Council encourages all employees to take part in celebrating the value of diversity and inclusion.
Celebrating Diversity
A network of employee resource groups (ERGs), born out of Johns Manville’s Diversity and Inclusion Council, is focused on promoting and supporting minority communities in the workplace. This will help build a stronger and more sustainable Johns Manville.

Johns Manville currently has four employee resource groups: WIN@JM, JM Wolf PACK, embRACE and ADAPT.
WIN@JM connects female employees and provides a forum for engagement around topics that uniquely impact women within Johns Manville.
The JM Wolf PACK is focused on developing a support structure by connecting working parents and caregivers together in informal and fun ways; providing educational resources for parents and caregivers to learn, grow, develop and nurture one another and on enhancing career development efforts by leveraging knowledge and experience from current working parents and caregiver leaders.
embRACE promotes education, awareness and understanding of all races and cultures. The group strives to learn about different cultures and human expressions and to defeat group think. embRACE is open to all people who share a passion for uplifting the expressions and traditions from our heritages and beyond, that make humans unique individuals.
ADAPT (Abled and Disabled Allies Partnering Together) supports individuals with disabilities, their caretakers, and family members. ADAPT acknowledges disabilities are strengths, not weaknesses and that individuals with disabilities provide valuable, immeasurable contributions in the workplace. The group provides employee education and facilitates constructive conversation to reduce stigma; build a safe, inclusive and tolerant company culture; and hire and retain diverse top talent at Johns Manville.
And, throughout the year, Johns Manville recognizes more than two dozen D&I-focused recognition days, weeks and months that celebrate different cultures and identities, to promote awareness, provide new perspectives and to cultivate camaraderie among our employees.
