The just-completed Insulation Expo USA held in Rosemont, Illinois proved to be a big draw for industry manufacturers, distributors, engineers and installers. The inaugural October 26-28 gathering, showcasing products from some 75 companies from nine nations, confirmed the status of North America as the largest market in the world for technical insulation materials.
According to the National Insulation Association, which held its annual Fall Summit in conjunction with the Expo, the trade group expects the market to grow to a volume of $11.4 billion in 2015 and $12.3 billion by 2016 with an additional $275 million in 2015 for the U.S. laminated metal building insulation market.
