Product Long Description
Spin-Glas® Ultra Polypropylene Scrim Reinforced Tape is designed to provide a vapor barrier seal on JM’s 800 Series Spin-Glas Ultra fiberglass board insulation. The tape has the same polypropylene coated scrim reinforced metalized polyester facing as the 800 Series Spin-Glas Ultra fiberglass board insulation. Spin-Glas Ultra Tape is tear-resistant and offers a super high-tack, acrylic adhesive that bonds tightly to surfaces. The tape can be used on applications that operate within a wide temperature range: 20°F – 130°F/-7°C -54°C.

Features

Uses -  offers a matching vapor barrier seal for Johns Manville’s 800 Series Spin-Glas Ultra fiberglass board insulation. It can also be used as patch tape or to cover pins on 800 Series Spin-Glas Ultra fiberglass board insulation.

Application - apply tape with a plastic squeegee to fully adhere it to the facing of the 800 Series Spin-Glas Ultra fiberglass boards. The tape must be pressurized to ensure positive closure. Do not use a metal edge such as the back of a duct knife or a metal squeegee.

Advantages - high-tack acrylic adhesive with a strong bond, mold-resistant, air and vapor barrier, tear-resistant,  easy application.
