Product Long Description
Water-repellent MinWool-1200® Lamella Tank Wrap is a strong, flexible mineral wool wrap insulation. Lightweight, high-performance Insulation for high-temperature applications. Lamella Tank Wrap is available in 4-pound, 6-pound and 8-pound densities. It is a perpendicular oriented fiber insulation manufactured from mineral wool. It is produced to fit large diameter pipe, duct, tanks and equipment ranging in temperatures from below ambient up to 1200°F continuous maximum service temperature, complies with requirements of new ASTM C1393 Standard.

Features

Water-Repellent - Helps mitigate the risk of water intrusion. MinWool-1200 Lamella Tank Wrap performs in accordance with BS EN 1609:2013 , absorbing less than 0.35 kg/m2 of water during water absorption tests at temperatures up to 425°F (218°C).

Thermal Performance -  Good thermal conductivity values help maximize control of heat loss, contributing to reduced operating costs and greater energy savings.

Light Weight, Low Dust, Protected Outer Surface -  Easy to handle and fabricate, Lamella Tank Wrap insulation is easy to cut with a knife. Clean handling properties and factory applied facers help reduce skin irritation and minimize job cleanup time and expense.

Mold Resistant -  Does not support the growth of fungi.
