Vent Chutes

Product Long Description
JM Vent Chutes are extruded polystyrene (XPS) sheets thermoformed to provide airflow from the soffit to the attic space when installed between insulation and the roof deck. JM Vent Chutes can be installed in finished or unfinished attics with open rafters in both new and retrofit construction to fit both 16" and 24" on-center cavities. Vent Chutes should be installed in each rafter spacing from the ceiling line to a height sufficient enough to allow air passage between the soffit and the attic. The vent chute should extend a clear distance above the finished attic insulation.

Features

Vent Chutes

Features

Adjustable - Can easily be modified to fit both 16" and 24" on center cavities.

Venting - Help optimize performance of attic insulation by minimizing wind washing, prevent blown insulation from blocking the air-flow, keep the space between soffit vents and attic space open during construction and maintain air channels over time.

Installation - Can be installed in finished or unfinished attics with open rafters in both new and retrofit construction.
