Product Long Description
Muffl-Jac® sound barrier jacketing is a special high density, composite film laminated to 0.020” aluminum using a viscoelastic film adhesive. It simultaneously absorbs, dampens, blocks and isolates sounds, reducing noise levels radiated by piping and equipment. 
Standard 1 lb Muffl-Jac sound barrier jacketing is available in 0.020” aluminum with stucco embossed finish. Rolls are 36" wide and 36' length (108 sq. ft.).

Features

High Sound Transmission Class - Achieves an STC rating of 29 (ASTM E413), making it effective for industrial noise control applications.

Flexible Installation Options - Can be used with mineral wool, fiberglass, ceramic fiber, or closed-cell insulation, and is suitable for field-fabricated enclosures or sheeting.

Temperature and Flame Resistant - Operates in temperatures from -40°F to 180°F and is self-extinguishing, enhancing safety in demanding environments.
