Decrabrite™ XG and Decrabrite™ XG WR are white or translucent, Formaldehyde-free™, lightweight, fiberglass blankets. Both are ideal for use in areas requiring semi-transparency for light diffusion, such as skylights, light diffusing and architectural panels.

Johns Manville Decrabrite™ XG and Decrabrite™ XG WR are white-colored, translucent, Formaldehyde-free™, lightweight, fiberglass blankets designed for use in a variety of applications. Both are ideal for use in areas requiring semi-transparency for light diffusion. As a result of its semi-transparency, Decrabrite XG and Decrabrite XG WR are specifically designed for skylights, light diffusing and architectural panels and other applications that require a formaldehyde-free product.

In addition, Equipment Spin-Glas glass fibers are highly resilient and resist settling, breakdown and sagging from vibration. They yield to impact and protect facings from puncture and tearing. Equipment Spin-Glas can be firmly bonded to metals, plastic or other materials with commercial adhesives or mechanical fastening devices.

JM’s Mineral Wool board is inorganic, noncombustible and will not mildew or support corrosion. These high temperature boards are easily fabricated, cutting cleanly and easily with a knife. These product attributes make Mineral Wool Board ideal for commercial appliance, hearth, crematorium and fire protection (e.g, fire door) applications.

Made-to-Order (MTO), Mineral Wool Board can be manufactured to be moisture repellent.

Spin-Glas® TC (yellow) and Spin-Glas® TC XG (white) insulation is an efficient thermal and acoustical blanket made from rotary-process glass fibers bonded with a thermosetting resin ideal for the rail and tank car industry.

Spin-Glas® TC (yellow) and Spin-Glas® TC XG (white) insulation is an efficient thermal and acoustical blanket made from rotary-process glass fibers bonded with a thermosetting resin ideal for the rail and tank car industry. 

These resilient fiber glass blankets resist damage and are easily cut with a knife, shear, or steel rule die. The blankets do not contribute to or absorb odors and carry UL Fire Hazard Classification 25/50. The insulation readily conforms to curved and irregular shapes.

The color difference between the two products is due to the chemistry of each respective binder. The Spin-Glas TC product is amber and the Spin-Glas TC XG product is white. The color of the product does not impact product performance, though Spin-Glas TC XG is Formaldehyde-free™, making it suitable for applications that call for formaldehyde-free materials.

Trymer 25-50 is a rigid, low-flammability polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation that comes in bunstock and can be fabricated into a variety of shapes and sizes.

Johns Manville’s Trymer® 25-50 Polyisocyanurate (PIR) Insulation provides excellent thermal insulation properties and dimensional stability for a wide range of specialized applications.  Trymer 25-50 comes in bunstock and can be fabricated into a variety of shapes and sizes.  Trymer 25-50 has an ASTM E84 flame spread/smoke developed performance of < 25/50 up to 1.5” thickness which makes it ideal for applications were flammability is critical or  governed by codes.  It is the only HFC and HCC free PIR insulation to meet 25/50 flame/smoke requirements.

Polyisocyanurate foam board designed to insulate rooftop ducts and HVAC equipment

The XSPECT® ISOfoam APF board is a closed-cell polyisocyanurate foam core bonded to a foil facer on both sides. It is a highly versatile insulation that can be used in a variety of mechanical and OEM applications, including rooftop ducts, appliances, HVAC equipment, refrigerated transportation, storage vessels, and railcars.

XSPECT ISOfoam APF board offers one of the highest R-values of any rigid insulation available, making it ideal for both hot and cold applications. The foil facer on the insulation operates as an excellent vapor-retarder, working in tandem with the closed cell foam to contribute to a tightly sealed system. Additionally, the lightweight foam makes it easy to fabricate and install.
