Johns Manville’s Etowah, Tennessee, plant, part of the Engineered Products business, has earned the Industrial Pretreatment Award for Outstanding Operation from the Clean Water Professionals of Kentucky and Tennessee.
This recognition highlights the facility’s commitment to environmental stewardship and operational excellence. Facilities are nominated to the Clean Water Professionals awards committee, which evaluates each nominee based on performance criteria, including maintained wastewater parameters, absence of violations and review of state environmental inspection reports.
The award celebrates the dedication, resolve and outstanding effort of the Etowah team in the pretreatment of industrial wastewater. It was presented on July 29 at the 2025 Annual Water Professionals Conference for Kentucky and Tennessee, held in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Receiving the award on behalf of JM was Wyatt Barnett, Certified Operator; Brandon Masengil, Certified Operator; and Michael Yoder, Environmental Manager.
