Every Johns Manville Facility Participates in Company’s Eighth Global Community Day

DENVER — September 18, 2026 — Johns Manville (JM), a Berkshire Hathaway company and leading building products manufacturer, held its eighth “Global Community Day” in September to support local, community service organizations and promote employee volunteerism. More than 1,600 JM employees from every JM facility around the world volunteered more than 4,000 hours, participating in 73 community-supporting activities.

Global Community Day was launched in 2018 as part of Johns Manville’s community investment program. JM’s strategy is employee driven, meaning the company supports causes and programs selected by its employees. Each Global Community Day activity was organized by a different company department or location.

In the Denver area, where Johns Manville is headquartered, employees observed Global Community Day volunteering at local food banks and pantries, decorating meal delivery bags for residents experiencing life-threatening illness, and cleaning up local open space areas, among dozens of other activities.

At plant locations around the world, JM employees pitched in on projects including donating and delivering cases of water to area residents enduring record-breaking heatwaves, renovating local classrooms, and supporting organizations helping shelter animals, victims of domestic violence and homelessness.

“Global Community Day reflects the best of Johns Manville. Across our company, employees volunteered their time and talents to support causes that matter in the communities where we live and work,” said President and CEO John Vasuta. “I’m proud of the commitment our teams continue to show, and I want to thank everyone who helped make this year’s Global Community Day such a success.”
