John succeeds Kimberly Lis and brings more than 25 years of commercial roofing experience, along with extensive business leadership expertise, to the role.
As Managing Partner of ABS, John has helped build a strong reputation for delivering commercial roofing expertise and solutions to architects, consultants, contractors, and building owners throughout the region. His commitment to industry education, collaboration, and technical excellence aligns closely with the mission of CSI and the needs of today’s design and construction professionals.
“I am honored to serve as President of the Chicago Chapter of CSI and grateful for the opportunity to serve an organization that has played such an important role in our industry since 1953. I look forward to continuing to foster collaboration, strengthen industry relationships, grow membership, and support engagement throughout the CSI community while continuing to work alongside valued partners like Johns Manville,” said John.
CSI is a national organization dedicated to improving communication and collaboration across the design and construction industry. Through education, standards development, and networking opportunities, CSI brings together architects, specifiers, engineers, contractors, manufacturers, and building product representatives to support better project outcomes and informed material selection.
Johns Manville extends its congratulations to John on this well-deserved achievement and looks forward to CSI’s continued contributions to the design community under his leadership.
