Our Scottsboro Plant Reaches Another Milestone

​The Scottsboro, Alabama, plant received the 2019 Plant of the Year Award during the annual National Roofing Meeting in January. In March, the plant also surpassed 1 million working hours without a single lost time injury. 

Celebrations for both accomplishments were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but plant leaders were finally able to safely host an event on August 24. Employees enjoyed a steak fry with all the trimmings as a thank you for their hard work during a particularly stressful time.

“I would like to thank everyone who continues to support the Scottsboro team,” said Plant Manager Terry Couch. “I also want to thank the team themselves for their dedication to safety and for being warriors throughout this challenging year.”
