At Johns Manville, technical expertise is at the core of everything we do. Our Field Technical Services team brings extensive roofing knowledge and industry-recognized credentials to help contractors, consultants, and building owners achieve successful project outcomes.
Across our Field Tech team, we are proud to have:
- 15 Registered Roof Observers (RRO®)
- 2 Registered Roof Consultants (RRC®)
- 5 NRCA Qualified Assessors
What Do These Certifications Mean?
Registered Roof Observer (RRO®)
Issued by the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC), the RRO credential recognizes professionals with advanced expertise in roof observation and quality assurance. RROs monitor roofing projects to help ensure installations comply with specifications, manufacturer requirements, and industry standards.
Registered Roof Consultant (RRC®)
Also administered by IIBEC, the RRC designation is one of the roofing industry’s most respected and rigorous credentials. RRCs provide expert guidance in roof system design, investigation, evaluation, and management, helping building owners and contractors make informed, long-term roofing decisions.
NRCA Qualified Assessors
Qualified Assessors are trained and approved by the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) to evaluate roofing professionals pursuing NRCA ProCertification®. These assessors administer hands-on performance exams that verify an installer’s roofing skills against national industry standards.
Supporting NRCA ProCertification®
As an added benefit, JM contractors save $100 on every ProCertification® application.
