Johns Manville Donates PPE and More to Skilled Nursing Center in Ohio

By Topic

Johns Manville’s plant in Waterville, Ohio, recently donated more than 100 pairs of safety glasses and several boxes of latex gloves and hard-surface sanitizing wipes to Waterville Healthcare.

The skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, which offers post-hospital, respiratory care and dementia/Alzheimer's care, needed additional supplies amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Christina Tucker, Maintenance, Repair and Operations buyer at the JM Waterville complex, was instrumental in securing the PPE ― as was General Supervisor Dan Payne with the hard-surface sanitizing supplies.

“Both worked extremely hard during the constrained-supply times to ensure that the JM Waterville complex was protected,” said Sarah Rapelje, Physical Distribution Manager. “With lines of supply more open, we are happy to share with the community.”
