WHAT IS YOUR ROLE WITHIN JOHNS MANVILLE?

I'm the Production Manager Glass, Fiber, Yarn at our JM site in Wertheim, Germany. We are self-sourced in glass and operate big furnaces to melt the raw materials. This glass is the basis for other products we manufacture, like skein fibers, sliver and fiberglass mat.  

WHAT WAS THE VERY FIRST RUNNING EVENT YOU PARTICIPATED IN?

My first race was the Bottwartal half-marathon in 2013, a race taking place in Southern Germany.  

IS THERE SOMETHING YOU WOULD CONSIDER AS YOUR GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT?

There are three running events I'm especially proud of. This is the Mammutmarsch 2019 Berlin (100 km), the Haspa Marathon Hamburg 2019 and the Quebec City Marathon 2015. 

HAND ON HEART - IS THERE A FUN FACT ABOUT YOU THAT WE ALL SHOULD KNOW ABOUT?

I set myself the goal of running my first marathon before i turned 40. And it worked out.
