Johns Manville’s needle mat is made incombustible by bonding glass fibers via mechanical needling. Thanks to its voluminous product structure, our needle mat is ideally suited as thermal insulation in canteen kitchen appliances, gas turbines and manufacturing facilities.
Our European-origin, white glass fiber needle mat is available in area weights from 300 to 4,600 g/sqm and thicknesses from 4.5 to 25.0 mm.
JM's binder-free mechanically bonded mat is: incombustible, temperature resistant up to 500° C, chemically resistant and non-hazardous to health.
We offer our glass fiber needle mat as roll goods, and as cut or punched parts in the following versions:
• thermally de-sized,
• reinforced with glass scrim, and
• single or double sided aluminum foil-laminated.
