JM Peak Advantage™ Contractor Program Creates Value for Partners

Las Vegas, Nevada (3/6/2007) --- To create additional value for its contractor partners, Johns Manville announced enhancements to its Peak Advantage™ Contractor Program at the International Roofing Exposition.

“We’ve made a number of changes to the contractor program this year to make it easier to qualify for awards and to drive value to our partners,” said Bill Rupert, manager of contractor programs.

He said that Peak Advantage Contractors now can register non-guarantee roofing projects for Peak Advantage points and the point values for single ply roofing systems now have been raised to the same level as bituminous systems.

These points add up to more rewards and ways to drive business. In addition to redeeming points for logo’d and brand-name merchandise, contractors can now redeem points for training modules and guarantee charges.

Training workshops are provided through the JM Roofing Institute™ Better Roofing Through Education and are held at JM’s state-of-the-art training facility in Rockdale, IL. The courses are designed to provide practical, hand-on-experience that goes beyond installation procedures to address business issues such as improving productivity. Areas of focus include materials, design, safety, productivity, technology, installation and quality, and are broken out by roofing system type.

In addition, points can be used for the new “roof in a box” sales tool.  This innovative sales product includes cutaways of a single ply and BUR roofing system in a custom-made ballistic nylon carrying case featuring interior pockets to hold product samples.

Those contractors who attain Pinnacle Council, the highest level of the Peak Advantage Program, will travel to the exclusive Four Seasons Resort in Costa Rica from March 1 to 5, 2008.
