Denver, Colorado (8/13/2003) --- The Johns Manville Roofing Systems Group debuted its new roofing contractor program, the Peak Advantage™ program this month. This new program is designed to drive new and profitable business opportunities to its members.
"We are dedicated to providing our best roofing contractor business partners with the resources they need to be successful," said John Cambruzzi, who has full-time responsibility to manage the program. "We will work with a select group of the leading contractors in the roofing business to provide them education and training, marketing materials and quick guarantee turn-around times to assist them in securing additional business."
The program includes an enhanced level of education, including rooftop training. Training also will be provided through videos, web-based programs and bi-lingual literature. JM will assist its Peak Advantage™ members in optimizing their use of technology.
The benefits of the Peak Advantage™ program increase with each level achieved, as do the criteria to participate. All members will be the only contractors eligible to offer guarantees. JM has streamlined the guarantee application and implementation process.
Based on an objective rating system, an elite number of contractors will qualify for the Summit Club. These contractors must be focused on meeting the needs of building owners. From these, JM will invite a very select group to participate in the JM Pinnacle Council, which includes participation in Contractor Council Sessions. These sessions are designed to provide an opportunity for dialogue between JM and its top contractors with the goal of developing better products and services for the roofing industry. The first Pinnacle Council session is slated for early November at the Fairmont Hotel in Phoenix.
"When we met with roofing contractors throughout the country, they told us they valued from a manufacturer," said Craig Maginness, director of the Contractor Services Group. "They also felt that their commitment to JM products should be recognized through increased business opportunities. We've specifically designed this program for roofing contractors by listening to them and responding to their needs."
Maginness said that through JM Pinnacle Council feedback, the company can continue to enhance its contractor program. He also said that this group will provide JM with marketplace-intelligence that will enable JM to continue to develop innovative products and value-added services for building owners.
