Downloading and Modifying Drawings in .DWG or .DXF Format
To view DWG and DXF files requires a CAD software program be installed on your computer, i.e. Autodesk® or AutoCAD. These programs are not provided by Johns Manville but can be purchased from a vendor. For more information, see http://www.autodesk.com/.
To download the modifiable version of an individual drawing in DWG or DXF format, right-click either "DWG" or "DXF" to the right of each detail and click "Save Target As...". Then select a location on your computer in which to save the zipped drawing file.
To download ALL of the details in a group, go to the bottom of each section. To the right of
"All of the above files in ZIP format", right-click "PDF", "DWG" or "DXF". Click "Save Target As...", then select a location on your computer in which to save the self-extracting (.exe) zipped drawing file. Once the file transfer is complete, double-click the file and choose a location on your hard drive to extract file. The extraction process separates the files for individual use.
Note that all of the DWG and DXF files are large and may take some time to download, particularly over a dial-up connection.
