This free, 1.5 day event is designed specifically with mechanical engineers, facility owners, contractors and operations personnel in mind. We have partnered with experts throughout the industrial insulation industry to develop course content that addresses how to effectively design and maintain industrial insulation systems, while sharing the latest JM innovations. Learn the unique features and benefits of multiple high-temp insulation materials to ensure you have consistent performance that meets your specifications and performance criteria.

Learn the critical components to insulating cryogenic systems and specifying and installing polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation systems. We will be outlining exactly where you can (and should) use PIR.

Learn how to interpret ASTM Corrosion test methods to better understand how insulation impacts the corrosive mechanism. Find out what the results mean and how to utilize the data to design systems that help inhibit corrosion under insulation.

Who should attend the Industrial Insulation Spec Institute?

The Industrial Masters Course is designed for engineers and facility owners and operators. It is an excellent way to dive into the details and materials that can help improve how you design and specify insulation systems. We have manufacturers throughout the industry presenting on the latest corrosion research, the science and strategies behind using their materials, cryogenic applications, and more.

How much does the Industrial Insulation Spec Institute cost?

Johns Manville offers the event for free to all attendees.

Does Johns Manville cover the cost of a hotel?

No, your room and board during your attendance will be at your expense. Johns Manville does not book rooms for the attendees for the Industrial Insulation Spec Institute.

Will meals be served?

A light breakfast and lunch will be served both days. Johns Manville will also host a dinner on the evening of the 24th where you can relax and socialize after Day 1 of the Industrial Insulation Spec Institute.

Can my coworkers come?

Yes! If you have a colleague who may be interested in attending the event, please invite them. The event is limited to 100 seats, however, so tell them to act quickly to reserve their spot.

What's the expected attire?

Business casual attire is most common during the event sessions. During the Crawfish Boil hosted by JM on the May 24th, jeans are appropriate as well.

Will there be opportunities to handle materials?

Samples may be handed around the class for educational purposes. There will also be a product demo on Day 2 of the event.

How do the CEU Credits work?

After the course, you will be emailed a Certificate of Completion that may be submitted for 12 CEU credits. The Industrial Insulation Spec Institute content is provided for professional development purposes only. It is intended to assist attendees in retaining and expanding their knowledge base. Acceptance of the certificate as CEU credit is at the discretion of the organization that receives the submittal. You must attend the entire course to receive your Certificate of Completion.
