JM in the Industry

The future of the roofing, insulation and engineered products industries is at Johns Manville. We don't just wait for the future to happen-we make it happen. Involved in industry and trade associations, our employees serve on boards and committees to help introduce new standards and innovations.

Many of our employees are serving or have served in leadership positions for the North American Insulation Manufacturers Association (NAIMA). The members of this nonprofit trade association are North American manufacturers of fiber glass, rock wool and slag wool insulation products. JM employees involved in NAIMA dedicate their time and efforts to the promotion of energy efficiency, environmental preservation and safe production and use of insulation products.

Many of our employees also play an active role as members in the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA). As one of the industry's oldest trade associations, the NRCA is composed of a variety of contractors, manufacturers, distributors, architects, consultants, engineers, and city, state and federal governmental agencies. Our contributing employees serve on committees to develop new ideas, programs and services within that industry.
